Anne LeBlanc
Anne LeBlanc of Somers formerly of Mt. Vernon passed away on December 31, 2016. Anne was born in Nova Scotia, Canada to Constant and Johanna Deveau on August 4, 1913. Anne came to the United States when she was 18 years old, met her husband Thomas and raised her family in Mt. Vernon. She worked at Genungs Department Store until it closed. She was a lifelong resident of Mt. Vernon until she moved to Somers NY two years ago at the age of 101. She was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Parish. Anne’s greatest joy was her family and her home. Anne is survived by her daughters Jeanette Albano, Catherine Viggiano and Ann Ramaglia, grandchildren Kerri, Wendy, Kami, Vincent Jr., Cristen, Thomas, Renette, Kandice and great grandchildren Luke, Cate, Kelsey, Kennedy and Arianna. Anne is predeceased by her loving husband Thomas LeBlanc of 55 years, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, sons-in-law Vincent Albano, Carl Viggiano and Bill Moran and grandson Carl Viggiano Jr. A celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Church at 11am. Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
